As we tread through these uncertain times, it is important to remain grounded, be in community and be taking action to nourish ourselves. The vision came to Dustin during a Vippasana meditation retreat to create a dharma center in the mountains to share meditation. It has now become a spiritual center for meditation, breathwork, yoga, rite of passage events for youth and a place for friends to gather. It is also a portal to the pristine nature that surrounds us. We creating a new paradigm for recreation so we are giving back to mother earth. Opportunities include hiking, skiing, wildcrafting, e-biking and practicing unconventional forest regeneration techniques.
Dustin has a passion for hosting healing workshops, meditation retreats, youth rite of passage events and outdoor adventures. With a background in retreat operations management and administration, here to ensure your experience is filled with good vibes and new earth living inspiration.
Braden is a journeyman electrician and has the ability to fix pretty much anything. He loves to ski, bike hike and spend time with his family. Braden is the rock of the operation and continually shows up to create the most positive experiences for our guests.
Jon is a hard working man dedicated to ensuring everything is in place from firewood, campsites, trails and much more. We are grateful to have him on the team.
Mina has a background in customer relations and works in the healing arts as a Thai massage practitioner. She is dedicated to keeping high standards for the ultimate guest experience.
Tegan has been coming up for many years adding a woman’s touch to the temple. She has a background in Air B&B management and is also a reiki healer.
Ben has a background working to regenerate clearcuts and management of old growth forests. He is the lead in our forest management plan and helping to build a food forest.

The Sun Temple has a full kitchen with propane stove and small fridge and running water outside the door. There are 2 single beds, sleeping mats. Extra blankets and sleeping bags are available please bring your own sheets, or they can be available by request. There is a stocked woodshed to supply wood for the stoves in the temple and the sauna. There is an outhouse and a composting toilet near the Sauna.
There is basic lighting set up in the kitchen, yet headlights are handy.
The sanctuary was designed as an alcohol free space.
There is no Wifi at the temple. We find people don't miss it. We do have radios for guests to be in communication while adventuring. Emergency wifi may be available at the Brennan lodge by request or at the Retallack mining buildings at the highway.
